Which Course Should I Make Next?
SQL hit 1M views in 4 months. Now I want you to choose the next one.
Hey friends, Happy Tuesday!
So… I’m about to start cooking up a brand new course. But this time, I don’t want to do it alone. I want you to help me decide what it should be.
Here’s how I’m doing it. First, I asked my YouTube audience. Now I’m asking you here. Next, I’ll take it to LinkedIn. Then I’ll gather all the votes and make the call.
And the reason I’m asking is simple — these courses take me forever to craft.
🎬 Behind the Scenes
When I made the SQL course, my goal was “just a quick 2-hour video.” Guess what happened? It turned into 30 hours of content. I drew over 200 iPad sketches and animations.
But here is the thing. I do not just teach syntax. You can ask ChatGPT for that. What I really do is show you how I actually used these concepts during my 15 years of real projects. I share what worked, what failed, and what goes on behind the scenes. And I sketch like crazy, because visuals stick in your head. From your feedback, I know this approach is what you loved most.
Sometimes I spend a whole afternoon on one single sketch until it finally feels right. That’s the level of care I want to put into the next course too
That process kind of became my recipe:
What is it? → How it works → Why it matters → A simple example → When you’ll use it in real life.
This recipe worked better than I ever expected. The SQL course just hit 1 million views in 4 months. That is just crazy! Thank you for making that possible → LINK
That number isn’t just views, it’s proof that when learning is visual, practical, and fun, it spreads. And it’s all thanks to you for sharing, commenting, and cheering it on.
Now…think of this like we’re drawing the next roadmap together. You tell me where to go, and I’ll put in the months of work to bring it to life
🗳 Step 1: Pick the Topic
I narrowed it down to a few courses that I know will make a massive impact for you.
🛠 Step 2: Choose the Style
Now tell me how you prefer to learn. Do you want a Project Oriented Course where we jump straight into building. Or a Full Ultimate Course where we start with foundations, move into advanced concepts, and finish with a big project. Or a Crash Course, short and intense, about two hours long.
So that’s the plan. You tell me what’s most important, and I’ll spend the time to make it happen. I can’t wait to see where we go next, together
Bonus: Try Something New
I am also thinking about adding smaller content in between the big courses. Maybe a Discord community to share projects and ask questions. Or live Q and A sessions on YouTube. Or even a short weekly Data and AI news video to keep you up-to-date with the trends. Which one excites you most?
News
By the way, I just found out DataCamp is free this week (Aug 25–31). That means over 200 Python and AI courses are unlocked. If you’ve been meaning to dive into Python or data engineering, this might be the perfect push → DataCamp
I also released a new video this week where I review the platform. I have been recommending DataCamp for a while, and I finally wanted to share my honest opinion about it.
Also, here are 3 complete roadmap videos if you're figuring out where to start:

Hey friends —
I’m Baraa. I’m an IT professional and YouTuber.
My mission is to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years and to make working with data easier, fun, and accessible to everyone through courses that are free, simple, and easy!
Hi Baraa.
I'm learning for Data Engineering. I have completed your 30 Hours SQL course. It was the best.
Also, your roadmap for DE was really good.
I have seen many resources for Data Analytics. But very few for Data Engineering. Especially yours.
Please make Full-Ultimate-Course for Date Engineer Roadmap. It will be really useful.
I'm waiting for your Ulimate DE course :)
Please make a Power BI course.
