My Power BI Crash Course is Here
Learn Power BI from Zero in Under One Hour
Hey friends - Happy Thursday!
One last release before 2025 ends:
🎉 Power BI Crash Course from absolute beginner is now LIVE & Free! 🎉
It’s under one hour and takes you through the full end to end process using the whole Power BI ecosystem: Desktop, Service, and Mobile.
This is made for total beginners. No heavy theory, no deep dives. Just a clear walkthrough on all Power BI Components.
What’s Inside the Course?
1. Power BI Desktop
This is the core tool where you build everything.
Install Power BI Desktop
Connect data from files
Explore the Model View and understand relationships
Inspect your tables in the Table View
Create basic transformations with DAX
Clean and prepare data using Power Query
Build visuals in the Report View and create your first dashboard
2. Power BI Service
This is where you publish and share your work.
Create a temporary business email
Create your Power BI Service account
Publish your work from Desktop to the cloud
Open and interact with your report in the browser
Learn the Service interface including workspaces, semantic models, and lineage
3. Power BI Mobile
This is how you access your dashboards on the go.
Install the app
Log in with your business account
View and interact with the same dashboard on your phone
So my Friends…
This session was only the starting point.
Now that you understand the full workflow, the next phase is to slow down and study each part of Power BI properly.
I will start releasing deep dive lessons on every topic you saw.
Desktop, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, visuals, publishing, everything.
Step by step, with real examples, the same way I built the SQL and Tableau courses.
The goal is to turn this into a complete Power BI course that covers the full journey from beginner to advanced.
So if you enjoyed the crash course, stay with me because the detailed lessons are coming next.

Hey friends —
I’m Baraa. I’m an IT professional and YouTuber.
My mission is to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years and to make working with data easier, fun, and accessible to everyone through courses that are free, simple, and easy!

Smart teaching strategy using the full workflow as scaffolding before diving deep. Most tutorials isolate each component, but showing people how Desktop work actually gets published and accessed builds useful mental models early. The 1-hour constraint probably forces you to skip edge cases wich is good because beginners get paralyzed by exceptions before understanding the core pattern.
Love how this covers the whole ecosystem in under an hour instead of just focusing on Desktop. The progression from building locally to publishing in the Service to viewing on Mobile is what beginners actually need to see. One thing that standout is the no-heavy-theory approach which helps people get hands-on fast, tho I'd be curious how you balance that with data modeling concepts once the deeper dives start.
